Since 1981, more than 1,700 children have been trained in the art and discipline of the scene and body expression. Many young people then went on to improve themselves in the world of theater and cinema before becoming actors, directors, directors and technicians.
Founded in Jussy in 1981, Théâtrochamp is now based in Thonex in the canton of Geneva.
Member of ASTEJ (Swiss Theater Association for Children and Youth) since 1992.

Nothing would have been possible without the passion of the founding director of Théâtrochamp. It was in the fields that this wonderful idea was born, in her native village of Jussy.
No theatre, no subsidies, but the desire to give and to make theatre known. Audacity, a good dose of courage and tenacity, ideas full in the head, a thousand talents to reveal, training as an actress and director and… the passion of children. Théâtrochamp was born. It has been going on for more than 35 years.
